CLIMBING GYM MANAGER NEEDED!

The Boulders Climbing Gym, located in Stelly’s Secondary School in Central Saanich, British Columbia, is growing! We need an experienced full-time manager to grow along with us. We have 5,400 square feet of climbing terrain, and we’re going to more than double in size in the next 16 months. We’ll be the first space in Canada capable of hosting a World Youth Climbing Championship. That’s not the only thing that makes us unique. We are home to range of climbing programs, from adaptive recreation and therapy programs, to a large recreational and competitive youth program, and outdoor education programs. We’re not-for-profit, and that means a focus on safety, community and high quality programming.

Our ideal candidate has previous experience at a management level in a recreational facility, relevant certification from the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, (preferably a CGI 2 or 3, TRCI or ARG), and is great with people of all ages. Coaching experience is an asset, particularly in relation to youth programming. The compensation package is negotiable, commensurate with experience.
